As long as we live, we can enjoy every day we have on earth. Perhaps we do not realize that the future is our end.

I’m not feeling well today because of my problems. My friend told me to go somewhere else to ease the pain I carry in my heart. I told him where I was going, he told me that he had an acquaintance who lived in Cebu and invited him to go there.

According to my friend, we won’t spend a lot of money because we have a house where we can stay for free. I agreed immediately because I also want to forget the pain. I told him when he was going so that I would go with him to the place he was going.

It took us three weeks before we got to the place because the plane ticket to Cebu is quite expensive when your flight is urgent.

How to get there from Metro Manila to Tumalog Falls

• From Metro Manila ride a plane going to Bohol Panglao International Airport (Before you book a plane ticket make sure they are on promotion so that you only pay a low price).
• Bohol Panglao International Airport ride a tricycle or car going to Momo Beach Panglao ( fee 48-68 pesos)
• Momo Beach Panglao ride a Ferry going to Quartel Beach Oslob it cost 1,000 pesos ” once daily”
• Quartel Beach Oslob take a jeep or tricycle going to Tumalog Falls 10.7 km travel fee 82-199 pesos

Before we arrived at the house where we will stay for 3 days, we rested because we were a little tired from the flight. The house is close to Tumalog Falls, only 45 minutes away.

In the morning, lassy’s mother, Aling Linda, prepared us delicious Danggit and fried eggs with sour and spicy vinegar. I ate a lot of rice because the Danggit in Cebu is really delicious.

After we ate, I helped Aling Linda clean up what we ate before preparing to go to the falls.

We rode a Habal-Habal to the waterfall. When we arrived at the place, I was really amazed at the true beauty of the falls. It is so good that it really relieves stress and problems. I didn’t regret coming here because I went to a paradise hidden in the place

The surrounding area is very quiet, the only thing you can hear is the falls and the chirping of the birds, which is a pleasure to listen to.

Just few people go to the falls, you can really enjoy the falls without any obstacles. The waterfall is surrounded by trees and thick bamboo which made the place even more beautiful

• Open Hours – 6 am to 5 pm daily

For the cheap price you pay to enter the falls, it’s well worth it. I was so happy that I forgot that I was going through a problem.

I was surprised that my friend was smiling at me so I told him why he was smiling at me, he said I am happy for you now because he can see in my face that I am very happy.

It was a worthwhile vacation for me to visit a beautiful falls in Cebu. Something that I will never forget, maybe when I have time to go on vacation again, I will come back to this place.

• Swimming attire
• Plastic bag for your wet cloths
• Extra money

• Bring a hat or umbrella

Transportation to the falls from Oslob town

It takes 10 minutes from Oslob Town to the drop off point of Tumalog Falls. From the droff off point you go down to the waterfall. But you have to be careful because the road is steep so cars cannot enter.

There is a large area where you can swim and cool off. It is one of the strangest falls I have ever been to. It’s as if there’s a thin curtain falling over the monolithic limestone cliff. ” 500 meter walk down from parking area”

Since we arrived at the falls, we did nothing but swim and take beautiful pictures until we were tired and hungry. We just ate the snacks we brought. We went home around 4pm and we were there to eat dinner.
