Villa Escudero in Quezon Province
Today we will go to a relaxing and amazing place in Quezon Province, this is Villa Escudero one of the wonderful places to visit this upcoming vacation.
I just went to this place, but I didn’t regret it because I had a very happy experience. Because they have different methods to attract more visitors that will surely make you happy.
The most amazing thing to me is that you can eat right next to the water falls and in the middle of it is the table where you can sit and eat.
How to get There
- The easy way to get to Villa Escudero is to take a bus from Ali Mall Bus station to Lucena (Fare 214 pesos)
- Tell the bus conductor that you will get off at Villa Escodero, which is near the Tricycle. (Fare 50 pesos )
From riding a tricycle, it’s only a 3-minute ride to the resort itself. Guys, it’s super easy to get here from Ali Mall Bus Station, just a 3 hour bus ride and 3 minutes to the resort itself.
When I arrived, I was amazed at how clean and quiet the surroundings were, the resort was also well organized, especially in the reservation area, very natural.
You can make a reservation online and you can also walk in. I went to the place alone so I just walked in and paid 1,800 pesos for my day tour only.
What I paid included swimming, rafting, museum, ride a carabao and a cultural show at 2pm.
The first thing I went to was the museum which was just a walking distance away from the reservation area.
The next thing I did was ride the Carabao full of fun. It’s not scary because the Carabao doesn’t walk fast. You can reach other attractions within a 10 minute ride and we got off at the souvenir shop.
Their shop is also very beautiful. They sell almost traditional items that are good as gifts for friends or family. You have so many choices that it’s definitely worth what you pay for it.
Things to Know
- What time did the cultural show start?
On my way here, a staff told me that the cultural show starts every 2pm.
- What time does the restaurant by the waterfall open?
It opens only from 12nn to 2pm.
- What time can you swim in the pool area?
The swimming pool opens from 8am to 5pm. They also have a big pool that you will definitely enjoy swimming in. There are also life guards watching so it is safe to swim here. But you have to be careful all the time.
Their pool is clean and wide. The water is also very hot. When I swam here, the water wasn’t itchy like other pools that are a bit smelly and itchy.
Just next to the pool there is a Bar where you can relax and buy drinks. You have a lot of options here if you want to drink alcohol, they also have Redhorse, pilsen for 100 pesos. There are milkshakes, mangoshakes, and many others.
The good thing about this resort is that the bath and toilet are big and clean, here you will find lockers where you can leave your things when you are only on a day tour.

After going around the entire resort, I will go to the falls where I will also have lunch. If you have children with you, they will definitely enjoy it. You also have to be careful because it’s a bit slippery.
You will see many children enjoying swimming while their families are eating nearby. The water is very cold while you step on it but it is very enjoyable.
After I ate I went to a famous spot in the resort, it is the raft ride which is exciting to do when you are in the area.
It was fun to ride the raft because the place was windy and very relaxing. There is also a guide that will help you to make your paddling easier.
When it was almost 2 o’clock, I went to the place where the cultural show was held. When I arrived, there were quite a lot of people, but there were still seats where you could sit and see the stage itself.
A wonderful experience where you can witness the dance of an ancient culture that you rarely see today. I also enjoy socializing with other guests. The show lasted for over an hour, they were all beautiful and worth watching.
After watching, I went to their pool to swim and relax. Since I was only on a day tour, I enjoyed swimming for a few hours and then went home.
It was so worth my visit to Villa Escudero even though I was only in the area for one day. For more information you can visit their Facebook page, Villa Escudero Plantations and Resort .
