Alice Guo Ex-mayor of Bamban Tarlac
Alice Guo, an ex-mayor in Bamban Tarlac, was recently arrested in Indonesia, according to the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission on Wednesday September 4, 2024.
Guo Hua Ping (Alice Guo) is facing several illegal charges, such as her alleged involvement in the operation of an illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) in Bamban Tarlac.
Guo was sacked as mayor and arrested by the country’s senators in July after repeatedly failing to attend its investigation into the raided POGO hub in her area.
Based on what the DOJ ( Department of Justice ) received from Senior Supt. Audie Latuheru of the Indonesian Police at 11:58 pm when Guo was arrested at Sandana Park Residences in Tangerang City.
According to the BI (Bureau of Immigration), this Guo is always moving from hotel to hotel to avoid the authorities. She only stayed two days in the hotels she went to.
Alice Guo has returned home to the Philippines
From Jakarta Indonesia, Guo arrived in the Philippines around 1 am. on September 6. Before getting off the plane, she was immediately arrested by the authorities for graft charges.

Guo was the mayor of Bamban Tarlac from 30, 2022 to August 13, 2024. Mayor guo was suspended on June 3, 2024
Ex-mayor Guo has been accused of being a Chinese spy and also faces involvement in illegal gambling and other criminal activities in her own area.

- December 2023, she reported an amount of 177.5 million pesos with a total of 367 million pesos.
- Properties include 9 properties in Marilao, Bamban, and Capas, acquired for over ₱20 million since 2008.
- It also has beautiful dump trucks worth 2 million pesos each and helicopters (60 million pesos), which were recently sold to an unknown British firm.
- Guo also shares in several companies, jewelry worth 1.5 million pesos and 198 million in the bank.
We are currently awaiting the senate’s decisions on when Alice Guo will be punished.
