This is Hermana Menor also known as little sister and it is also one of the top islands here in the Philippines. And it’s only a 45-minute boat ride from STA. Cruz Zambales to the island. It is also one of the best white sands in Zambales
when you arrive at the place, you will see the very white sand and the island is clean, you will see many trees around. Which makes Hermana Menor even more beautiful. It’s a good place to visit and you can enjoy your vacation because as soon as you arrive you will see how beautiful the island is.
you will be amazed at the place because as soon as you arrive you will immediately see the sand bar in front of the island. This island is surrounded by beautiful coral reefs. The sand doesn’t hurt to walk on and the water is cool and relaxing. There are few people in the island so you can enjoy your swimming.
And you can see from above how beautiful this island is. It’s nice to see the place from above, you can see the blue water in the sea and the green in the middle of the island because of the trees planted and you can also see how white the sand bar is. It’s nice to go swimming in the area because it’s so clean and quiet that you can get rid of all your worries and tiredness.
The Hermana Menor day tour costs only P1599 per head. The policies on the island are to always keep the island clean and the check in is 6.00am to 5.00pm overnight is not allowed on the island. This island is very safe for the guests, they are responsible for the things they bring because the staff is not liable for the lost things of the guests that are valuable items or personal thin
How to go to the Hermana Menor?
If you are from another place you will be taken to Lucapon Norh Zambales because this is where the boat will take you to the island. There are many boat rides but more people go through Lucapon Norh because it’s fast to go to the Island. But the problem is the road to the boat is quite small.
The sea is a bit dirty where the boats are located. You have a lot of algae that can be seen in the water that changes the color of the sea water, it is quite dark with green water. But it’s okay to ride here because someone will guide you. And you will be taken to an island that is very clean. It’s dirty at the beginning, but when you get to the island you’re going to, you’ll see the beauty of the Zambales.
This island is beautiful because you can see how colorful the surroundings. It’s like a farm and the surroundings are clean. No need to worry because there is a toilet in the area and there is no water in the toilet so what we did was to get water from the water pump. Good experience because you feel like you are in the province. The water pump area is quite far away so you have to walk 5-7 minutes to the toilet
And when you explore the area you will see the beauty of the island more, and you will see the water is very clear. It’s so good to hear the stress-relieving wave.
There is an area on the island that is not allowed to go to because they take care of their coral reefs. But there are many areas that can be visited as well. If you want to know what is the strong signal on the island, it is Globe, you can go to Fb and youtube and more on the island, but other sim cards are weak here in the area.
It is better to bring your own food because there are no restaurants on the island. When we went in Hermana Menor, we brought cooked food to the island. If we are hungry, we will just eat and not cook because it is quite difficult to cook to the area.
And you can bring your own tent so that when you are tired from swimming, you can rest in the tent. Because there are no cottages on the island.
