Roxas City has beautiful beaches that are one of the most visited by tourists besides the beautiful scenery in the area.

How to get there in Roxas City
The easiest trip to Roxas is by plane. Ninoy Aquino International Airport to Roxas Airport, get a ticket 2-3 weeks before the flight so that you don’t have to pay a lot. If your flight is urgent, you will definitely spend more.
After exiting Roxas airport, you will see many tricycles, you can ask the places where you want to go and they know it.
First Adventures in Roxas
The first place we went to was The edge of Roxas City because it was close to the airport, a 12-minute drive away.
The edge is one of the most visited by those who want to go to Roxas, it’s very peaceful and quiet and people also like it because the surroundings are clean.
Before you get to The Edge, you have to walk a little but it’s tiring going up(4 minutes walk). The entrance fee cost 20 pesos only. The Edge is really the only place for taking pictures, because the background is beautiful, you can see the vastness of the sea.

It is only walking distance from (The Edge) 3 minutes walk, its name is Culasi light house.
Ruins of Alcatraz Roxas City
Our next destination is the Ruins of Alcatraz Roxas City, just near The Edge, 3-4 minutes away by tricycle.
The design of the Ruins of Alcatraz is unique, it is large and spacious, it is located in Brgy. Culasi, Sitio Nipa in Roxas City, Capiz Philippines.
The Ruins is a resort built by the Bermejo family a long time ago, unfortunately it was unfinished and abandoned.
It has been tested by many disasters and still remains intact. You can see how powerful these Ruins are.
The Ruins it is near the sea of Roxas, the place gives off an amazing ancient vibe. Over a long period of time, large trees have grown over this great wall.
You will really regret the amount of the owner spent on not finishing this resort. But something good happened because it became one of THE HISTORIC WALL in the place.

If you love eating seafood, don’t worry, there are so many famous restaurants in the area that you will surely enjoy.
Coco Veranda Bar & Restaurant
It is located in Roxas City, Capiz Philippines, they have Outdoor seating, it opens from 9am to 10pm (per 1 person cost 200-400 pesos. It is 27.5km from Panay Island.
The seafood is very good, you have many choices of different seafood dishes. It was the first time I went to Coco Veranda Bar & Restaurant that I was excited about the food they prepared which is rare in Manila because the seafood in the city is very expensive.
The seat I really chose was the one where I could see the beach so I could eat better.
After we ate we went to the people’s parks located in Arnaldo Blvb, Roxas City, the place is also very beautiful, very clean and the breeze is very nice. The best time to come here is around 6pm because you can see the beauty of the place.
This is the people’s park, one of the locals’ favorite tourist spots in Baybay. You will definitely love this park, the people of Roxas are proud of their park and they are not wrong because it is popular with tourists.
What time do people’s parks open?
people’s parks open from 7am to 7pm , it is popular because of the entertainment that is held in the area such as dancing, singing, fireworks, and many others.
The Park was reopened to the public after several months of construction. By now the park has changed a lot, it is better to look at and it has also become a tourist attraction.
Roxas City Paseo Del Rio
Paseo Del Rio in Roxas City is also one of the most popular spots in the area.
Paseo del Rio is located in Roxas City, Capiz Philippines. It has beautiful views that are amazing, promise you won’t regret going here. I liked Paseo del Rio so I shared it with you.
We will go to one of the oldest churches.
The church is called Santa Monica Parish Church. This church was founded in 1575 and completed in the 1600s. For those who don’t know, this church has been through a lot, it was destroyed by a typhoon in 1698.
This church is located at Roxas City-Panay Road, Panay, Capiz ph. And did you know that after the typhoon that hit the church, it took eight decades before the new church was built by Augustinian priest Father Miguel Murguia in 1774.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus
This is the tallest statue of Jesus in Roxas City, it has 31 meters 102ft. It’s also very refreshing here, the views around are beautiful.
Roxas City Plaza
It’s so beautiful here, their plaza is one of the places I liked in Roxas City. Go here guys when you are in the Roxas area, you won’t be bored.
