This Pacol falls is so beautiful that you can see it up close. The surroundings are very quiet and you can only hear the chirping of birds and the falling water from the falls. It’s relaxing to listen to because of the sounds you hear.

Pacol Falls can be found right in Barangay Alimatok, Cadiz city, Negros Occidental, which from the City of Cadiz is 2 hr 19 min before you reach this falls.

Super clear water surrounded by towering rocks that make it even more beautiful. Pacol Falls looks simple but you can see the natural beauty of nature.

Pacol Falls is really visited by tourists when they are close to Lakawon Island because it is only 72 minutes from the island.

You can explore and paddle in the cool water flowing from the falls. Make going to this place memorable because here you will experience the beautiful part of our mother nature.

How to get there from Manila to Pacol Falls

• Ride a plane from Ninoy International Airport to Bacolod Silay Airport
• Bacolod Silay Airport ride a taxi going near Seven Eleven intersection of Rizal st and Zulueta st
• Take a bus going to Cadiz city
• From Cadiz City ride a Motor or Habal-habal going to Barangay Alimatok

“Alimatok is a leech in English“, it is a blood-sucking insect. That’s why the barangay is called Alimatok because you can see a lot of this insect.

If you are wondering that there are many Alimatok or leeches in the area, it is because they live in forests like moss and the surroundings are always wet.

You will see very few vehicles here that usually go to the area are actually using motorcycles because the other roads that vehicles can enter are quite bumpy.

Before you enter the falls itself, you will find many cottages where you can stay. They also have a mini store and local coffee shop where you can have a coffee first and enjoy the coolness of the place.

The first time I went to Barangay Alimatok, I slept very well because their climate was very good. I stayed with an acquaintance for 2 days so I could really see the place.

It’s very cold guys, even colder than the air conditioner. You can really see the fog around your house, especially when you wake up at 5 to 6 am in the morning, you can’t see the adjacent area because it is covered by fog.

Reminders

• When you go to Paco Falls you need to take a tour guide with you. They will take care of the places you want to see and get to safely. ( Tour Guide fee 300 pesos)
• Go early so you can feel the coolness of the place and tour the 7 Falls which can only be walked. To get there, you need to take a guide with you.

• Bring a jacket because you might not be able to handle the cold.
• Water Bottle
• Extra Money
• Bag for cloths
• Plastic for wet cloths

Here you will experience walking up and down and getting wet, if you are not careful you might fall down ahaha.

Just like a friend of mine who looks at the beautiful scenery around and doesn’t look at what he’s going through he slipped ahaha but he wasn’t hurt because he only fell slightly.
