Manila zoo the Zoological and Botanical Garden
As an animal lover, one of my favorite places to visit is the zoo. I have been here twice when the elephant Ma’ali was still alive but unfortunately she passed away recently.
The good thing is that you don’t have to go to a very far place just to see different types of animals. On my first day visiting the zoo, that was not in my plan.
I just happened to visit my brother at his workplace which is also near the zoo. My brother said that when he got out of work because he only had half a day, we would go to the zoo.
When we entered the zoo we had a little trouble at the entrance because there is so much to do just to get inside. What’s worse is that there were so many people in the place that it took us a long time.
There is an easy way to get in that you just put the money in the machine and write your name in the registration area but their machine is broken.
The staff told us that to enter, fill up in your phone using their qr code that you can only see around the entrance.
The second time I went, I didn’t have any trouble because I asked the staff then if there was an easy way to enter the zoo without difficulty.
He told me that if we plan to go to the place, it is better to make an appointment online, so this is what I did, I booked online and went to the zoo.

The best thing to do for less rush when going to the zoo is to book online. You don’t have to line up just to get inside.

I was only sad about my visit to the zoo today because I won’t be able to see Ma’ali. I remember when I first entered the zoo, the elephant was the first animal I saw in person.

Different kinds of snakes
Did you guys know that different types of snakes and lizards have their own rooms with air conditioning, because they only live in cold weather.
There are also small but poisonous snakes like cobra and others but you can’t see much because they hide in the holes.
When I actually entered the zoo, I was amazed at the various beautiful animals that I only see on TV.
I didn’t see the White tiger up close because he was sleeping so well. No matter what we do to wake him up, nothing happens ahahaha.
My brother said that here in the zoo you can see many animals that you rarely see in the Philippines.
It’s scary to see a big crocodile in person, it’s my first time to see something like this, you shouldn’t be scared because they are in jail.
There are many animals that I didn’t take photos of because I enjoy looking at them.
Even though the Manila Zoo is not that big, it took us a long time to finish going around it because we really looked at every animal we passed.

All I can say is that it was worth it for us to go here. I forgot all the problems I went through.
Animals give us abundance and pleasure. It helps our nature to beautify and continue to multiply and grow.
As humans, it is our nature to be abusive towards animals, we never thought that they would lose their habitat due to cutting down trees and killing animals.
We can learn to love animals and take care of them without anything in return.
