Hinulugang Taktak : Why is it good to visit?
During my few days stay in Rizal, Antipolo I did not hesitate to visit the nearby tourist spots. The place I chose to visit is Hinulugan Taktak, known for its fun adventure, nature, and activities that will excite you.
Hinulugan Taktak is a popular attraction known for its stunning waterfall and has become a favorite destination for local and international tourists.
Actually, I just found out that there is Hinulugan Taktak near where I live, just a few minutes away.
An acquaintance of mine said that there is a famous place nearby which is Hinulugan Taktak.
I did not hesitate to visit it and I invited him to accompany me and he agreed.
Located
It is located in Antipolo. Daang Bakal Rd., Sitio Taktak Brgy. De La Paz, Antipolo 1870 Rizal.
How to get there
- If you have a private car, you can use Google map and Waze to find the place without any hindrance.
- If you commute to Hinulugan Taktak, you will take a bus, van or jeep going to Antipolo and tell the driver or conductor to drop you off at a place where you can take a tricycle or taxi to the place.
What you pay for your ride may vary depending on your starting point and mode of transportation. From Metro Manila, a public bus or jeepney can cost around 50 pesos to 100 pesos.
Hinulugang Taktak : Why is it good to visit?
The Hinulugan Taktak is remarkable as the waterfall surrounded by greenery offers visitors a peaceful escape from the smoky and crowded city.
Another thing that makes the place beautiful is that you can really see its natural beauty. Which offers a serene escape from the smoky and bustling city life.
Hinulugan Taktak is a beautiful falls surrounded by plants that make it even more beautiful. The waterfall is not that high but it gives comfort and pleasure to the people who visit it.
How much the Entrance Fee
For those who want to come here, I am happy to tell you that Hinulugan Taktak has free entrance and free parking area.

No need for reservation, first come first serve to each guest. It’s not a waste that you come here because most of their activities are free.
Open Hours
- Hinuluga Taktak is closed on Monday because it is MAINTENACE DAY.
- 7 am to 4 pm from Tuesday to Sunday open.

A reminder
Those who can use Hinuluga Taktak activity are 14 and above. For ages 13 and under, they can enjoy the beautiful view and the pool. It is better to visit earlier so that you can enjoy their activities.

- If you want to have a picnic with your whole family there is a place where you can relax and eat with family or friends.
- Swimming in the pool, as it is sometimes not allowed directly under the waterfall, is due to guest safety concerns.
- Here you can take beautiful pictures with the stunning natural scenery and the waterfall.
- Try their amazing activities that are sure to delight you.
- There are places that offer pleasant nature walks.
There is no need to bring tents because they already have a small hut where you can eat and rest.
Can I bring food?
Yes, Guests can also bring their own picnic food. And if you don’t bring food there are local food vendors and small eateries around, offering a variety of snacks and Filipino food.
About the Hinulugang Taktak
For those who don’t know Hinulugan Taktak has a rich history and was declared a National Park in 1990.
If you are planning to go to Hinulugan Taktak you will definitely like it and the good thing is that you can stay for a few days in the area because it has nearby resorts and hotels.
