Mount Purro Nature Reserve In Antipolo

After going to Hinulugan Taktak, I headed to Mount Purro Nature Reserve which is only 55 minutes away. This place is also a popular tourist spot in Antipolo.

Mount Purro Nature provides comfort and relaxation away from crowded and smoky places.

That’s why I also liked going there because I grew up in the province and I miss this atmosphere, the quiet and the nice breeze.

If you’re looking for a quick escape from the endless hustle and bustle of the city, I’m sure Mount Purro Nature Reserve will help you out.

Purro forest is home to various trekking trails which I am sure you will love if you are a hiking and nature lover..

Where is it located?

This area is known for being quiet and has various tourist spots just near Metro Manila.

How to Get There From Manila

Private Vehicle

• If you have a private car, just use google map or waze, it will help you to travel to the place faster. The travel limit is 1 hour 34 minutes from Manila.

Via public transportation

• When you commute from Aurora Boulevard ( Marcos Highway ) you will take a jeep/van going to COGEO.
• From COGEO you will take a jeep again to Paenaan and tell the driver to drop you off at “Kanto Veterans”
• Kanto Veterans you will ride a tricycle going to Barangay Calawis.
• From Calawis you will ride a tricycle again to Mount Purro Nature Reserve.

In fact, it’s quite difficult when commuting because there are many twists and turns before you get to the place. It is better to have your own car to make the trip faster.

The good thing is that your trip to Mount Purro Nature Reserve is not a waste because this place is really beautiful.

Our trip here is faster because we are in Hinulugan Taktak and go straight to Mount Purro Nature Reserve.

And one of my friends brought a car that he drove for us. At Mount Purro Nature Reserve you can swim, hiking, and take great photos.

Don’t expect the internet here , there is also no TV so I’m sure you will be really connected to the very natural nature. This place will make us feel the simple life like in ancient times.

All I know is that the ambiance of this place is relaxing and the breeze is very nice. There are so many things you can do in Mount Purro that I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as much as I do.

Adult Game

Mount Purro Nature Reserve ensures that all visitors. They also have indoor games that you can play with friends such as:

• Billiard
• Pingpong
• Foosball table

While you wait for your colleague enjoying the game they also have space to relax and have a refreshing ambience.

Kids Game

There are also children’s games that I’m sure they will love here too. It’s a way to make everyone happy.

Swimming

For those who love to swim, don’t worry because the place also offers a warm pool that you can soak in as much as you want. It is also surrounded by a beautiful view that you can relax while taking a bath.

• Visit the River Trek and the waterfalls Lagoon.
• Hiking Trails & climb the mountain to see more of the beautiful scenery below.
• Plant trees.
• Have a traditional massage.
• Bond with the whole family and friends at the Bonfire area.

Another feature is socializing with the local natives who live in the area, the Dumagats. People visiting here can learn about their natural lifestyle as well as their daily activities.

They will teach you how to cook using materials found in nature such as stone, bamboo and many others. You can also see the happiness in them even though they grew up in a difficult life.

For those who want to stay overnight, they also have a native inspired cottage where you can relax, sleep and enjoy the coolness of the night.
